We started off Father's Day weekend bright and early on Saturday when we rolled out of town about 6:15am to head over to our farm across the mountains! It was a dual purpose trip as we had some hay and ecology blocks we needed to take over there, but we were also surprising Jeff's dad with us and his other 2 brothers and their families coming over!
Ryan was all set in the back of the Kenworth with his sunglasses (well really Jeff's spare pair), a Sunny D and poptart for the road- oh yeah, and his blanket! Not the best breakfast, but it was a special trip! :)
So the surprise was that once everyone got over there, Jeff's mom had set up a tee-time for all the guys to take their dad golfing! So when they headed for the golf course, us gals rounded up the kiddos and headed to the local pool! The weather was perfect, about 80 degrees and the kids had a BALL! Here's Ryan and Jordan hanging out in the kiddy area of the pool.
Since I'm prego and all, water slides aren't a good idea so Melinda offered to take Ryan down for me. He resisted at first, but every time he goes to the water slides, he's hesitant at first and then absolutely loves it! Sure enough, as soon as they landed and got out of the pool he said to her with a big smile on his face, "That was sweet!"
Livin' the life!
