and even more pictures!

Ryan was telling us here that the "airplanes are loud!"
Sweet Ryan blowing the airplanes a kiss goodbye when they were all done.
The Life. Mommy pulling me in a wagon full of snacks, goodies and drinks, getting to watch the airplanes... does it get any better?
Ryan clapping along with the crowd for the small motorized aiplanes that were flying.
As we left Ryan pointed out the group of airplanes in the sky to us! We had a great time and the weather was perfect! Definitely was a fun day!

more airshow pics...

First we watched the F-18's take off...
and then we watched the Coast Guard demonstrate a rescue. Ryan thought the red smoke was pretty cool!
This is Ryan and Grandma waving good-bye to the Coast Guard helicopter after it picked up the "stranded person" and flew away.
Then the F-18's came back and did some fly bys...
Then they did a touch and go manuver that was really cool (and really loud!)

Airshow!

On Saturday my mom and I took Ryan to his first airshow! It was only 20 minutes from our house, too, which was really nice and convienent! This is Ryan in awe watching the F-18's getting fired up!
They had 2 F-18's (very cool!)
A US Navy helicopter
and a US Coast Guard Helicopter along with a ton of small airplanes that people flew in on.

Ryan

He's just too stinkin' cute! (If I may say so myself!) :)

Lilacs

I picked these pretty lilacs off my sister-in-laws Lilac tree yesterday and they smell soooo good!
Gorgeous!

Our Dacing Goofball! :)

The other night Ryan decided to put on a dancing show for us, music courtesy of The Wiggles!
I told Ryan that he gets his smooth dancing moves from his Mommy and not his Daddy! :)
Don't know where the Mickey Mouse ears fit in, but apparently they were part of the overall look he was going for. Cutie.

Beautiful Sunset

I couldn't resist taking this picture a few nights ago- simply beautiful.

Pooped!

I worked yesterday so Ryan got to spend the day at his Grandma's house with his cousin, Shelby! He got to ride his tricycle, walk over and see his daddy and Uncle Steve chopping grass across the dike, play with Grandma's new bubble making toy she got at the street fair... the fun just goes on and on- and this is a result of it!! He was so tired when we came home that he just cozied up in the chair and went to sleep! Grandma's house is always so much fun!!

Tractor Time!

It's spring time, therefore field work time! Ryan loves driving around the valley and seeing all the tractors out! That's his daddy's tractor to the left and the other two are his Uncle Yogi's!

It's hard to see unless you can zoom in, but Ryan is grinning ear to ear while helping his daddy drive the tractor. They were planting corn for Ryan's Papa- Jeff told Ryan's Grandma and Papa that if the rows weren't straight it was Ryan's fault! :)

Here's Daddy getting the planter all ready to go hit the road and drive to the next field that needed to be planted!

Yesterday Ryan got to ride along with his daddy and do some more field work... once again not happy at all (as you can tell!) to be in the tractor again! Jeff called me while I was in town and told me to take my time as Ryan had just fallen asleep in the tractor! Jeff took off his sweatshirt and put it up against the window so that Ryan wouldn't hit his head on the glass if the hit a bump... such a sweet daddy. :)

As if he hasn't put enough hours on daddy's tractors, Ryan came home from riding and hopped right on his tractor and rode around on the deck for over an hour! I'm starting to wonder if there's not some green blood running through is veins!

More pictures...

While we were up visiting Pete, Ryan thought he'd take a moment to stop and smell the tulips. :)

My sister-in-law's aunt and uncle have grandkids so their yard was full of fun things for kids to do- Ryan had a ball and didn't want to leave!

He went on his first Teeter Totter ride with his cousin, Austin! He's so good with Ryan.

Then Shelby decided it was her turn to take Ryan for a ride....

and they even talked mommy into it! We had a good time!

Then just before we left, Ryan thought he'd do a little fishing in their pond!

Visiting Pete!

A couple days ago we were able to go visit our old dog, Pete! Long story short, we had him since he was a puppy and he used to chase and play with cats around the farm.... however, the cats stayed the same size and Pete got much bigger and he ended up killing the cats. :( Apparently once they do that, you can't re-train them not to so we finally ended up having to give him away which was hard for me to do, but knew it was necessary since we live on a farm and need cats to keep the mice away. We were able to give him to my sister-in-laws aunt and uncle so it was such a relief to find him a great home! It is so nice to be able to go visit him since he only lives about 40 minutes away. They also have another dog a little younger than Pete so he has a playmate to run around with!

Here's Pete making up some lost kisses to Ryan! :) Ryan thought Pete was so funny!
Could a dog ask for a better place to run around?!
My sweet Pete.

Our cutie. :)

Caught Ya!

Twice in the last two days I've caught Ryan looking at his dad's farm magazines while eating a meal. Really it's quite cute. In this one he's eating Frosted Mini Wheats while browsing the Farm Journal... I know, exciting stuff. :)

Then today during a gourmet lunch of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, he was looking at the "John Deere tractors" and a picture of a sprayer that got stuck in the mud. He said "uh oh Mommy!".
Life is good.

Easter Time Pictures... a little late! :)

We were invited the day before Easter, to an Easter egg hunt at some friends' house! There were quite a few little kids there and it was very fun! They have a huge yard so there were all kinds of places for the eggs to be hiding! :) Here's me and daddy starting the hunt together! Of course, mommy is behind us with the camera in tote!!

Hmmmm.... which way should I go next???
Daddy and Ryan, checking out their loot!
Our Easter day was so much fun and so busy visting our family that mommy forgot to take a picture of me in my cute outfit... bad mommy. Not that I really care. This is my second outfit for the day as my nice one got dirty. Mommy and daddy let me drive just down the road from our house to my grand aunt and uncles house to have dessert! I thought helping daddy drive the car was SO cool! When we pulled in everyone assumed I was at the wheel since I had the blinkers on, windshield wipers going full blast and the windows down... what could have been their first hunch???
Here's the cool eggs that we dyed with my mommy, grandma and cousin Shelby. Shelby is all girl and that's why we just had to have sparkles. :)

Trike Time!

Ryan learned how to ride a tricycle the other day at his Grandma & Papa's house! It was his 4 year old cousins trike for when she was at Grandma & Papa's and now she's bigger and it's there for him to ride! He got on there with no hesitation and just took off! We all couldn't believe how well he did for the first time. He thought he was pretty cool since he could ride a bike around just like his older cousins were. His Grandma said she was going to take him to the store to buy him a helmet next week. Safety first! :)

Ryan's older cousin, Austin, hopped on just for fun and Ryan just kept on peddling like it was no biggie! Ryan thought it was cool that he could take Austin for a ride and Austin thought it was cool that he could give him a ride! Everyone was happy!

Field Work Time!

Here's Ryan, totally in his element riding on the "big John Deere tractor" with his daddy! I have never seen a kid put on a pair of boots as fast as him when I ask if he wants to ride with in the tractor. Jeff had a "Buddy Seat" put in the tractor this last winter so it's perfect for Ryan to ride along in.

.... and then they were off! :)
