A beautiful view of Mt. Baker from the other side than what we usually see from home.

The boys checking out the views.

One of the many BC Ferries we passed along the way.
The first evening we arrived to our condo, we got settled in our room then headed down just about a 3 min. walk from our condo to the 'Fisherman's Wharf' for a yummy dinner!
Ryan let me take his picture- the singer to the left sang and played guitar while we ate and was really good- reminded me of a cross between Jimmy Buffet and James Taylor. Ryan and I shared some of the best fish & chips I think I've had yet!

The little spot we stopped for ice cream one night which floated along with all the other places on the wharf... really fun!
Sunset at dinner- lovely.
The view from our room at night...
The view from our room during the day!
The first time Ryan hit the pool, our neighbors kindly threw him down some goggles to borrow! :)
Jacob loved just playing out on the balcony with his trucks.
Jacob & daddy in the kiddy pool.

Me and my Ry-guy on the balcony, sitting in the sun! Ahhhhh!
Me and Mr. Jacob. Check out those eyes of his!
The famous Empress Hotel!
Ryan made a friend named Madison- she was 5 also and just from Lake Stevens... small world!
Ahh, my view from my lounge chair by the pool... loved it!
A couple cool dudes waiting to go into the "Undersea Gardens"!
The diver teaching us about all sorts of interesting things- he's holding a crab in this picture.

Ryan and the fishies :)
Jacob & Daddy checking out the star fishes... Ryan and I weren't too interested in touching them.
The big, beautiful Parliment Building. We opted to not go in it as it didn't really seem kid-friendly. Lovely from the outside though!
Ryan & I in front of the 'Under Sea Garden's'.
A closer view. Really pretty with all the flowers they had around it.
Loved seeing all the horse and carriages around town.
Jeff playing in the pool with the Ryan and his new friend.
A happy, tired Ryan after a day full of fun in the sun!
Silly Jacob! (I think Ryan took this picture). :)
Play time with DADDY! Let the giggling begin!
Jeff brought this to my attention. He said "look at our little vacationers". :) So cute, both just sitting out on our balcony, watching everything that was going on.

Ryan insisted on taking a picture of Jacob and I right that second so here we are!
Our cute Ryan looking exceptionally handsome! :)

One afternoon after lunch and before heading back to our condo, we took a little drive, only about 4 or 5 mins. from our where we were staying and stumbled on this! It was breath-taking gorgeous. Really windy, but gorgeous. There were great wind surfer down there catching some serious air. It was really fun to see. If it wasn't so cold and close to Jacob's nap time, Jeff and I both agreed we could stay there for hours.
A view to our left (east).
Jacob & Daddy taking it all in!
Along with just having plain 'ol fun, Ryan would practice some of the things he was learning in swimming lessons like the back float. He did it all on his own and did great! I was a proud mama!

Dead Man's Float.
CANNON BALL!!! Yes, this is the same child who just a few weeks ago would barely jump in the pool to Jeff and I with his life jacket on. He's come a LONG ways since he started he swimming lessons last month!
The last evening we were there, it was a bit breezy out, but that didn't stop us from heading out for a walk around the water. Well actually, it was all Jacob's idea. The last couple nights we were there he would walk over to his stroller after dinner and say "bye bye" so off we'd go!
Here's a view of our condo from inside the harbor.

The float planes were suddenly coming in right as we were walking next to the water so it was fun to see them so up close!
Taxi-ing to their spots on the water. Jacob LOVED watching them!

It was cool out, but he was happy as a clam to be outside and to see the planes right next to him. They were so close that he was waving to the pilots! Talk about a happy kid!

The boys relaxing in our room after pretty much destroying our bed!
Precious cargo if I ever saw it!
Couldn't resist taking this picture after Jacob's bath... look at those CURLS!!!
The perfect, and more quiet way to head home!
And he's out like a light! Play hard, sleep hard. :)
