Beautiful Day!

It turned out to be such a beautiful day around here today- this is a picture of Mt. Baker from our house... gorgeous!

Here's Ryan jumping for joy about something- he just loves being outside so he doesn't really need a reason besides that to be excited! :) Plus he thought he was pretty cool with his new flip flops on!

Once again, here's Mr. Ryan out on the deck riding his bike- caught him in the middle of saying "Hi Mommy!!" Sweetie pie. :)

Cooking Class!

Actually it was more of a "chocolate class"! Tonight my mom, sister, cousin and I went to a class that was held downtown at Gretchen's and learned how and got to make these cool chocolate Easter eggs! It was really neat, the chocolate/candy maker had us using our hands in the chocolate- it was like finger painting for adults, but better because we got to eat some of it! Man, if we had a camera there the pictures would have been hilarious! The chocolate they provided was from Belgium and was out of this world!

Inside the egg we put in a rocky road filling that we also made and it was so delicious! We got to decorate them with some pretty pieces of sugar and they gave us a cute box to bring them home in. I figured I better take a picture of it because it's not going to last very long around here! :)

Daffodils!

My best friend, Rikki, from Montana is in town so we thought we'd take our boys out to see the flowers... truthfully our boys didn't care- us mommy's just wanted to take them out so we could see the pretty flowers and take their pictures! :)

Silly Girls...

My sweet little niece, Shelby, came over to play with me & Ryan the other day...

She saw my camera sitting on the counter and thought it would be a good opportunity to take some silly pictures... silly girl. :)

To all mommy's out there... this is what could potentially happen if you leave a 2 year old, alone, with a (full!) salt shaker. Let this be a warning.... :)

Me & My Loader!

Finally the weather was nice enough to bring my favorite loader tractor outside on the deck! It was still a little chilly, but it didn't bother me one bit. My mommy was being a little whimpy and watching me at the screen door in the entry way because she told me it was "warmer" in there. Silly mommy! :) She was proud of me, though, because she saw me using the pedals instead of just pushing myself around with my feet. I'm getting pretty big!!

Fun Day!

Later after breakfast, Ryan's older cousin, Kylie and her sister, Kera, came over for a little bit. Ryan thought it was so cool that Kylie was reading his John Deere book to him! (he adores her!)
Then the day only got better when his Mommy let him help make some yummy whipped cream...
and, of course, let him lick the beater! De-lish! :)

Yummy Breakfast!

Ryan, this morning, was enjoying a yummy breakfast.... after his waffle he got to have a bowl of fresh strawberries-his favorite fruit!

I really think he would have ate the whole box of them if I let him, but seeing how I usually am the one that changes his diaper, I opted not to let him! :)

Our Sleeping Sweetie!

I had to wake Ryan up from his nap yesterday to go to a birthday party, but when I went in to get him up, he was sleeping so sweet and cute that I had to take a picture of him... it's a little dark because I didn't want the flash to startle him. Plus he won't be in a crib much longer so I thought I better get another picture of him in it while he still is!

After a minute or so he started to wake up... I wish I woke up this happy and cute!

Such a sweetheart! Do you think we love him to pieces or what?! How could you not! :)

Furniture Model

Ryan found a new profession in modeling furniture! We were in at Hansen's Furniture, looking for a new entertainment center for our living room and Ryan decided he'd just sit in the window in the "cool" soccer chair. He was highly entertained as west side was very busy and he thought it was fun to look out at all the cars and "big trucks!" going by. Plus, the owners thought it was great and were hoping he'd maybe draw some people in.... maybe we could get a discount for his services?! :)
