Party Time!

We started off the party with a yummy, kid friendly, dinner of penne pasta in spaghetti sauce (basically spaghetti minus the mess of spaghetti noodles!), salad and delicious cheese bread, which was courtesy of my sister-in-law, Melinda and was quite a hit!

The kids seemed to hurry and eat so they could get back to playing. Here's the boys of group playing with the race track Ryan got for Christmas. They had so much fun with it and all played really well together!

Next it was PRESENT TIME! Ryan was thrilled with every single one of his presents and such a lucky boy to get so many! This is him opening a John Deere video my parents got him... does he look happy or what?!
Next he went right back to "work" playing with all of his new toys. He is VERY much into trucks these days and hauling different things. When he unwrapped this truck from my parents he said, "Yay, now I can haul milk!" Such a smart little man!

Lastly it was time for the very important cake time! Here we are singing "Happy Birthday" as he's getting ready to blow out his candles!

His real birthday isn't until Monday so we're planning to take him out for dinner with a couple of his special friends and their parents so he can have sort of a birthday get together with some of his friends. He's a pretty lucky boy that a majority of his friends are his cousins... because he has so many! Makes us very thankful we live so close to all of them that they can be here to share these milestones with us and him.
