On Thursday the 4th of November Ryan had another follow-up expansion procedure on his back. His procedure time was nice and early this time, rather than the last which ended up being close to 2pm before he got into the OR. Everything went really well and we were able to come home after he enjoyed a yummy dinner there. He really did like it and had actually had it there the last time he was there- fried halibut with peas and rice... and of course plenty of jell-o! Jeff and I opted to swing by Dick's Drive-In on the way home. :)

Since the incision is in the middle of his back, Ryan has a hard time seeing what it looks like so he asked me to take a picture of it for him to look at. It's really a small incision, but looks bigger b/c of the dried blood under the bandage. We had to find out the hard way that he's allergic to Dermabond, which is like a glue that they typically use to keep in incision together rather than stiches, but stiches it was b/c we did NOT want him to have that ichy, rashy reaction. He was miserable when that happened the last 2 times. All is well and he's healed up great! And he's even taller- growing like a weed to put it mildly!
