Ryan's f/u at Children's today!

This morning Ryan had a 9:30am appt. down at Children's to get x-rays and meet with Dr. Song to follow up on his procedure last month. We made great time getting down there and got in right on time! Jeff went in with Ryan for his x-rays while Jacob and I waited in the waiting area. We had a nice visit with Dr. Song and got a chance to look over the x-rays with him. He was able to pull up a x-ray from after his procedure last August and then the one from today and we could easily tell that his back was straighter after his procedure last month! We were all thrilled with the results and also pleased to hear from Dr. Song that they are finding it's okay to wait to have the next expansion procedure closer to 9mons. from now rather than 6mons. like we've been doing. So basically he'd only have to have this procedure once a year rather than twice a month like we've done so far. All good news and, again, gave us so much to be thankful for! After his appt., he and Jeff headed over to E. WA to drop Ryan off to stay with Jeff's parents for a few days! Ryan was really looking forward to having Grandma and Grandpa Boon all to himself for 3 days! They sent us a text/picture this evening and Ryan was having a great time! A good day all around!
