Sun Lakes... Here was come!

We just got home earlier this evening from being gone all week on vacation to Sun Lakes! It was the first time we'd gone there and had a great time! We went with about 5 other couples and their kids and was a lot of fun. We've gone to the same place for a few years now and decided to change it up and I think we'll be coming back here together for years to come!

Here's Ryan as we hit the road Monday morning... all ready to go with his hat, sunglasses and a snack!

So we got there just a little after some of our other friends were there and one of the kids already had a flat tire. Turns out there was a weed/vine that grew there known produced little things known as "goat heads" (but has an actual name that I can't remember). They have at least 2 very pointy sides to them and easily puncture bike tires. Not long after we were there, Ryan got one in his front tire and, therefore, got a flat tire. Here's Jeff fixing it while our friend's son, Daniel, watched him very carefully and helped when he could!
We took Ryan and Craig down to the lake one day and they made "soup" for us! Here's Ryan getting it all stirred up for us! Yum yum!! :)
These two had such a great time just playing in the sand and were very entertained!
When Ryan got warm enough, he decided to venture out and sit on a floatie with Shelby while Austin pulled it and gave them a ride. Ryan thought it was very funny!
