Another fun day!

My mom invited Ryan out this afternoon to help her mow the lawn... it was an easy sell- Grandma's house AND getting to ride on the lawn mower! Here they are mowing my Grandma's lawn.

Then a bit later my Dad stopped in the yard on his Ranger so the kids wanted to go for a ride. My nephew, Austin (11yrs. old) has been driving it alot lately as he's been helping my Dad & brother with work around the farm. My dad said that Austin was capable to give the younger two a little ride over the dike. So against my better judgement (not that Austin wouldn't be careful, but still he was responsible for the younger two who he was driving!) I let them go. My dad gave Austin his cell phone to have even though they'd be right back. Austin even beeped me on the phone to let me know they made it to where they were going (out by the irrigation) across the dike. I wasn't content until I saw the whites of their eyes and here they are. They drove back on the yard, all with huge smiles on their faces! I, finally, had my camera with me and had to get a picture of them after their first voyage out together!
While the kids were on their little ride, my mom was picking some cherries off their cherry tree to make a pie. Ryan was very interested in what she was doing and asked to help. Of course, she said he could help her so here they are.

This picture cracked me up. We brought out a bottle of some sparkling lemonade for my parents to try (it's very yummy & refreshing!) and it was almost gone so Ryan asked if he could drink the last couple sips out of the bottle. Here he is, hitting the bottle of lemonade... silly boy!
